Press Release Body: E.ON UK, one of the country\'s leading green generators, has
announced that it will be cutting the emissions of its company cars by only ordering
new vehicles with a CO2 rating of 165g/km or less.
The change in arrangements is effective immediately and the company\'s leasing
provider has been informed of the decision.

Derek Parkin, Managing Director of Business Services at E.ON UK, said: \"Tackling
climate change is at the heart of everything we do, from reducing the emissions of
our power stations to such measures as this decision on company cars.

\"We want to change energy in the UK and, to do that, we have to act on our
operational footprint - our generation portfolio - and on our non-operational
business - our offices and vehicles.

\"We also need to change the way that our customers look at energy and that can often
mean setting a good example.

\"So we\'ve already reduced the non-operational carbon intensity in our buildings by
16.7% per employee in 2006 and we aim to reduce the carbon intensity of our
generation by 10% by 2012, having already cut it by 20% since 1990.

\"This is something that we\'re very serious about and we\'re sure that our employees
and our customers will want to join us on this journey.\"

E.ON believes that this move alone will reduce average emission levels across its
company car fleet to 140kg/km, a reduction of over 12%.
E.ON is one of the UK\'s leading href="http://www.powergen.co.uk/At-Home/HomePage.htm">energy supplier -
